Coffee Too Good To Trade…

Coffee Traders in Mornington is a town favourite that never lets you down and offers consistently good coffee every day of the week…

This snug little coffee house is tucked away off the Main St drag in Blake St Mornington, but with the vine covered facade and french style street seating out the front it is a hard one to miss. Inside is small and cozy with enough room to move or spread out the paper if you prefer to fly solo!

As well as being able to purchase some of their beans (which fills the room with that addictive aroma) they sell a variety of tempting bite sized cakes and cookies as well as a offer a menu with a good range of wholesome food to try.

My friend Jane recommended this hotspot one Saturday whilst avoiding the rain and gloomy weather. The cafe was a buzz with people trailing in and out for their usual Saturday morning fix.

With orders stacked pile high, the girls behind the machines and in the kitchen did a killer job at turning around orders with everyone leaving as a happy customer.

The coffee was spot on, smooth and creamy with just enough bite (not an ounce of bitterness!)  I brunched on the smashed avocado with mint, lime & goats feta which was simply delicious!

As well as being satisfying and tasty, it is reasonably priced ( 2 coffees & a meal for under $20) and you can even phone ahead your order…recommended if you’re wanting a ‘take away’ on the run!

Next time you are looking for a good caffeine fix that is guaranteed not to let you down or are perhaps after a sneaky treat that is not so big you will feel you have over indulged then definitely keep Coffee Traders in mind and pay them a visit…
